Women Rights Before And After Islam

Women before Islam were treated very badly; they have no rights in property, education, etc… In times of war, women were treated as part of the gift. People dislike the birth of daughter in family and they killed the female children.

After Islam women were given rights by Allah (SWT), and Allah (SWT) said in a Holy Quran about female infanticide:
“And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief! He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonor or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision.”
(An-Nahl 16:58-59)

Islam considered women to be equal to man, Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran:

“O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever and All-Watcher over you.” (Al-Nisa 4:1).

According to Islam women is an independent, unique individual in her own rights and she can get education; she can receive a share in property. According to Islam, we cannot force a woman to marry anyone without their permission or choice. The Quran clearly point out that marriage is sharing between the two persons of the society, and that its objectives, beside perpetuating human life, are emotional well-being and spiritual harmony. Its bases are love and mercy.

Quran a miracle sent to Muhammad (p.b.u.h)

Quran has itself has proven to be the last revelation of Allah. Its compilation and revelation was through Gabriel. Who made the last prophet read it? He then recited it in front of the Arabs and the prophets companions used to memorize it.

The last prophet was said to be an illiterate. I.e. he never went to a school or studied at an institution of that time. But yet he was full of knowledge of the universe. This is a miracle of Allah. The Arabs entered the circle of Islam in a large number.

Angel Gabriel one time every Ramadan, but he recited it two times in the last Ramadan before his death. It is said that Gabriel furthermore educated the Prophet the seven modes of recitation.

Each verse obtained was recited by the Prophet, and its position relation to other verses and surahs was recognized by him.

The verses were in writing by scribes, chosen by the Prophet, on any apt object – it was written on trees, parts of timber, parchment or cowhide, flat pebbles, and shoulder blades.

Several century companions memorized the Qur’an by heart.  In the present time the Quran can be read even in the form of online Quran. This is the best form of educating people all over the world at one platform.

Why We Should Trust In Allah And Make A Good Opinion

There is always a time where one incident or the other has made people to carry wrong opinions of our lord and especially the recent incidents have created a confusion making many to think that how can this be possible while our God has made us loose from the disbelievers and their victory is not even justified, well as far as people without strong affiliation with Islam exists and keep on making assumptions the limit of patience and belief would be on a constant test.

For what we all should know as Muslims is the belief and the opinion about Allah the almighty. The more we are clear and strong about out Tawheed the more it will make us believe in Allah and help us to follow the right path of faith and forgiveness. To understand it better we have good example narrated by Abu Hurairah, that Allah says “I am as my slave thinks of me and I am with him whenever he remembers me.In addition to this there are several other factors which will make you understand and to be more precise you should refer to Quran Recitation on a daily basis, which will not only help you to purify your heart and follow the recommended path, but also keep you away from unwanted things or sins of the materialistic world.

In addition, Allah the almighty says “And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women – those who assume about Allah an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has become angry with them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is a destination.” [al-Fath, 48: 6]

Islamic Ideology v/s Religion Islam

Islam has turned the faces of the entire world towards Islam. Not only Muslims in the present time are interested in the affairs of Islam but also the non Muslims are affected by the actions of Muslims and teachings of Islam. Muslims are being targeted socially, politically and religiously by the non Muslims of the world. Islam is most of the time the concepts of Islam are being misunderstood by the non Muslims, due to the media controversies the Muslims are being targeted all over the world. Names like terrorists, extremist is being used by the people of the world and they blame Islam for the prevailing terrorism in all the parts of the world. People just talk about Islam blindly without knowing what exactly Islam is, as defined in the Quran. This is the reason of distortion of facts about Islam. Islam gives an ideology that is rooted in the social, political, economic, judicial and penal systems of an Islamic society defined in the Quran. This tells us that Islam is not mere a religion. This ideology of Islam bonds the Muslims together as one nation with any discrimination of color, race and ethnic origin. The rules and regulation in the Islamic legislations mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah give it a lead over the other democratic set of rules and capitalism. Non-Muslims should consider the revelation of Quran and then talk about the affairs of Islam.

Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction.” [4:82]
