Story Of Saba According To Holy Quran

The scholars of genealogy once said that Muhammad Ibn Ishaq was among the generous people and he was the first for taking captives. According to As-Suhaili, He was the first person to get crowned, there are some scholars who say that he was a true Muslim and composed the poetry which bought some good news of advent of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

The term Saba coves all the tribes, and among them were the tribes of At-Tababi in the Yemen. Bilqis was from the Kings of Himyar who once ruled Yemen. By reading Quran, you will be able to know about the Story of Saba. They lived in ease and happiness, because they had lots of fruits and plants. People who followed the straight path spend a peaceful and successful life, while those who did not obey the instructions of Almighty Allah had to face destruction and devastation.

Many scholars were of the view that the Dam of Marab was built for keeping water behind all these mountains, and when the water rose, all people started planting the orchards, fruit trees and other vegetables. Building of a dam was started by Saba Ibn Ya rub but he died before its completion. They worshipped Almighty Allah and also dealt very arrogantly with his grace. Allah Almighty has made the stages of their journey quite easy and they feel much safe to travel by each day and night.

It is said about the story of Saba in the Holy Quran:

“And We placed, between them and the towns which We had blessed, towns easy to be seen, and We made the stages (of journey) between them easy (saying): “Travel in them safely both by night and day.”

Pronunciation Of Word Muslim And Moslem, Koran And Qur’an

There is ambiguity among people regarding the word “Muslim” and “Moslem”. Basically these two words are same with different spellings according to the US center for the Nonproliferation studies. This statement was not made by the Arabs nor the linguists, instead it was a decision of specialists of US military. It has multiplied all over many internet articles. The Quran tells you more about duties that are assigned to Muslim and how he can fullfil them. All these are two different spellings as said by the CNS specialists that have no political significance.

It is however very true. Both of the words point out towards the similar community of the believers. There is some argument which was made by all the Muslim that help in evoking much more accurate pronunciation of both the words “Muslim” and “Moslem” which can be spoken in lots of ways. It can also be pronounced from Moozlem to Mahslim and the pronunciation depends upon the dialect and accent of the speaker of English language.

Words are a sum of total association and some of the older terms. All Moslem have burned lots of ugly connotations. Changing of the transliteration to all Muslim was not at all necessary and much more accurate. Instead it is a way of shaking off the old meaning. It is also offered to look out for a fresh start. Most of the times, scholars argue over the transcription. All the Arabists differ a lot in the methods of transmuting the words of Arabic into some of the Latin words. All the words of liberation must be rendered as taHrir or tahrir.

Questions About The Revelation Of Holy Quran

There is some controversy and ambiguity in the mind of people regarding the revelation of Holy Quran and who wrote it. Some say that it was written by the Arabs, but the teachings of Arab go against the Arab culture, Gods and Religion that has existed before this Holy Book was revealed. Quran has condemned the worshipping of Idol, but the Arabs loved their Idol Gods and worshipped them very regularly. A good Quran Teacher will tell you more about the facts regarding the revelation of this Holy Book.  Similarly, Quran prohibits and condemns the interest on money, while Arabs rely on heavy interest regarding the businesses and loans. Holy Quran also prohibits and condemns the drinking of Alcohol, while Arabs consume it freely.

There is another ambiguity in the mind of people which states that the Holy book of Quran was written by the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).But the truth is that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was not a literate person and it is not possible that he can come up with a poetic and a book that is rich in its text. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) never went to any school and nobody taught him anything. He did not have any type of knowledge in any subject, therefore how can he have the knowledge of astronomy, oceanography and the science that is mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Holy Quran was revealed some 1400 years ago over a period of almost 23 years. It contained the words of Almighty Allah and has taken the responsibility of its protection.

Positive Effects Of Quran Recitation On A Person

Holy Quran is a religious book of Muslims; its recitation has a very positive effect on a person. On the other hand, it is the religious duty of a Muslim to recite the book of Holy Quran. Those who Teach Quran to other people will be rated among the noble citizens. Research also states that there are some very good physical effects of Quran Recitation on a person, just like the effects of music on the soul of a person.

In the Surah Luqman of Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says:

“And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, or the Verses of the Qur’an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).”

In order to prove this, an experiment was conducted on apples to find out the effects of Quran Recitation.

Cut the apple into two pieces and put both the half of it into a bag locked with zip and then for seven days Quran was recited for one apple while the music was played to other half of apple. Both of these apples were placed in a room with normal temperature. The results were quite amazing and astonishing. The apple upon which the Holy Quran was recited remained fresh while the one on whom music was played became rotten.

It is said about the Holy Quran in Surah Yunus:
“O mankind! There hath come to you an admonition from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts and for those who believe Guidance and a Mercy.” (57)

Holy Quran – Eloquence At Its Very Best

Allah Almighty is the ultimate Creator, Who not only created this amazingly beautiful world and universe we are aware of, but also created many more our logic and science seems not to apprehend as yet. However, The Mightiest Allah revealed all this to humanity over fourteen centuries ago in the most sacred Scripture that Muslims adhere to. Just have a look at one of its verses:

“(God) is the One Who created for you all that is on the earth. Moreover He turned to the heaven and
fashioned seven heavens with harmony. He is Full of Knowledge of all things.”
–sura 23, verse 17:

Quran, Holy Quran, Qur’an, learn Quran,

This unique Scripture is referred as Quran and is the last of its kind descended upon humanity to guide them through their worldly lifespan before they are to be resurrected and judged for how they spent their life on earth. Allah (SWT) is the most benevolent of all; how could He create humans and not endow upon them His kindness and guidance.

Therefore, He chose Qur’an as the means of absolute guidance for humanity, as clear and eloquent as it can be. In fact, eloquence of Quran is one of its unique and intriguing features ever since its revelation on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It serves to convey the true message of Allah Almighty in the most eloquent manner; so much so, that Allah (SWT) challenges all humanity to produce one single verse of this kind, just as mentioned in the following verse:

And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur’an) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him), then produce a surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful. [Qur'an 2:23]

Concept Of Tolerance In The Holy Quran

Islam has always talked about tolerance and forgiveness. It teaches all the Muslims that strongest of all the servants are those who can control their anger and also have the capacity to forgive. It is said by the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H):

“Whoever suffers an injury and forgives (the person responsible), God will raise his status to a higher degree and remove one of his sins.”

Quran, Holy Quran, Qur’an, learn Quran, learn Quran online,

If you can forgive the anger of people both, inwardly and outwardly, then this cleans the soul from Shaytan and the negative energy. If you have sufficient knowledge then Teach Quran to other Muslims so that they can have better understanding of tolerance in Islam. It is good to disregard the vain criticism as it is the first step in adopting the tolerance.  This is a continuous inner struggle that is called:

“The Greater Jihad”, as it involves fighting the evil to purify the hearts. This is done for the purification of spiritual condition and for the sake of Allah. The best way of forgiveness is to answer oppression of others with kindness. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) inspired all of the Muslims by practicing the act of tolerance by himself. As it is said:

“God had ordered me to maintain ties with those who sever ties with me, and to give those who deprive me, and to forgive those who oppress me.”

Most of the people think that by taking the revenge who have harmed you in anyway will be like harming yourself. When you forgive someone, it brings a relief to yourself as it given a feeling of liberating release. As it is said:

“Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”

Why Do Muslim Parents Arrange Best Quran Reading Facilities For Their Children?

There is one gift that all Muslim parents want to award their offspring, i.e. the knowledge of Holy Quran. This is because two of the supreme authorities of Islam (and whole humanity), Allah Almighty and Allah’s Last Apostle Muhammad (PBUH) advise not only Muslims, but all mankind to resort to the supreme guidance that Qur’an is.

This fact can be authenticating from many Quranic verses (containing Allah’s words) as well as hadith (containing detailed explanations of Allah’s teachings in Prophet Muhammad’s PBUH words).

Given below are examples from Qur’an as well as hadith,

Alif-Lâm-Râ. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ân, and none but Allâh (Alone) knows their meanings]. (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad SAW) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allâh and Islâmic Monotheism) by their Lord’s Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.(Al Qur’an; 14:1)

This verse specifically contains the word “mankind”. Allah Almighty addresses Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to resort to Holy Quran to guide not only Muslims, but all mankind. That is why Muslims make sure their children get the best of Quran Reading lessons by arranging best Quran tutors for them, particularly during early part of their lives.

Similarly, Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also stated many ahadith highlighting the importance of Quran knowledge, such as:

The house in which the Holy Quran is read looks as bright as the shining stars to those who live in heavens”.

If you are also a Muslim parent, make sure you also arrange the best gift for your offspring.
