Month of Ramadan

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

The importance of the month of Ramadan can be known by the following amazing verse of the holy Quran.

Al-Baqara [2:185] The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desireth for you ease; He desireth not hardship for you; and (He desireth) that ye should complete the period, and that ye should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure ye may be thankful.

The Quran, the book for the whole of mankind, was revealed in this holy month of Ramadan. What can be a better month than this in which the solution to all the problems was revealed in the form of a Book; the holy Quran. Read interesting story: RAMADAN–MARRIAGE LIFE DURING RAMADAN.

RAMADAN–MASTURBATION BREAKING THE FAST

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

Ramadan is the very special month of its time as there is no other month like it and as there can be no enough blessings like it and there is no other month in which such rewards are offered. It is the month we all as believers should seek blessings, forgiveness and mercy by making such efforts that are awarded likewise and this is where you are expected to refrain from bad deeds and learn to practice new deeds. Masturbation breaks the fast.

You would be considered wise enough to make your Ramadan special by reciting Quran in abundance, pray regularly and pray the special Taraweeh prayers, doing Dikhr (remembering and mentioning Allah (SWT), recite Istighfar (Seeking forgiveness for one’s sins) and follow the practice of charity especially this month and this is where you are to know that this month is indeed special for Muslims and thus appropriate understanding is required.

In an authentic Hadith the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said:”Truly is lost whoever hears my name and does not invoke blessings on me; truly is lost whoever catches Ramadan and he misses the chance to get his sins forgiven; truly is lost whoever catches his parents in their lives until they become old, and yet he misses to attain Paradise (through honoring and taking care of them.”(At-Tirmidhi, Sunan, Vol. 5, Hadith no. 3613; this Hadith has been classified ashasan saheeh (good and authentic) by Sheikh Al-Albani in his bookSaheeh At-Tirmidhi, Hadith no. 2810).

RAMADAN–ARE WE ALLOWED TO HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE DURING THE SACRED MONTH. This is where you are to know that a believer is expected to observe fasting in the month of Ramadan and this is done by refraining oneself from food, drink and sexual desire. For which reason masturbation is considered to be a type of sexual desire thus concluding your fast to be broken.

How to quit masturbation in ramadan

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

Ramadan is the holy month of Muslims full of blessings and Allah’s Mercy. But, Ramadan has its rules and regulations that are imperative on every Muslim to follow. One of these rules is to avoid a really bad habit called masturbation. Masturbation is the worst activity that is done to satisfy one’s own sexual needs. Other things to avoid: Sex, Kissing, Drinking – What to avoid in Ramadan?

In this month we have to chance to quit masturbation and leave it for all. Here are some tips on how to accomplish that task:

    • Follow Allah’s order and be afraid of his punishment.what to avoid in ramadan
    • Lower your gaze.
    • Never be alone, always be with friends or family, Satan likes you alone.
    • Marriage: If you cannot control then marriage is the solution.
    • Pray 5 times a day.
    • Follow the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH.
    • Masturbation causes weak eyesight, weak nervous system and lower back pain etc. Keep these in mind.
    • Be patient, give alms and follow the company of the righteous.
    • Repent and ask Allah from your heart to guide you.

      And Allah SWT knows best.

Imam Shafi’i stated that masturbation is forbidden based on the
following verses from the Qur’aan (interpretation of the meaning):

“And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal
sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that
their right hands possess, – for them, they are free from blame. But
whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors.” 23.5-7 Here
the verses are clear in forbidding all illegal sexual acts (including
masturbation) except for the wives or that their right hand possess. And
whoever seeks beyond that is the transgressor.

      Husband wife kissing during ramadan

Ramadan comes with its blessings and as well as its strictness on rules. There are a lot of fatwa’s on what a husband can do with wife during a fast. For instance, is kissing allowed during a fast in Ramadan? During Ramadan kissing is allowed

sexual intercourse and kissing in ramadan

between husband and wife and even they can have sexual intercourse if they want. But when they are fasting, they can only kiss and not have sexual intercourse as it is forbidden and voids the fast.

Sex, Kissing, Drinking – What is prohibited in Ramadan? Kissing can temp to sexual intercourse so avoid kissing as much as possible though it is permissible between husband and wife only. Kissing is not Haram between husband and wife during a fast, but it is strongly advised that they not go any further in this state as it initiates the state of play between them.

Is It Allowed To Wear Lipstick While Fasting?

ramadanDuring the month of Ramadan there are several things which we have to care about, things which are avoided and prohibited like smoking, lying, stealing, etc. There is also another issue for the women, as we know that women love to wear makeup and lipstick. Now the question raised by Muslims women is that is it allowed to wear lipstick while fasting? First of all let me make one thing clear that a lipstick like other beauty and makeover products should not be used by a Muslim woman in the public but if she wants to use it she can apply lipstick in front of her husband, in front of other women and her family people.

      There is a fatwa that:

“A woman is allowed to wear lipstick during the daytime of Ramadan if she is sure that nothing from that lipstick will go to her stomach. However, if any of that lipstick reaches the woman’s stomach, then her fasting becomes invalid.”

So I think that it’s better not to wear lipstick while fasting during Ramadan because it may ruin her fast. There are also some other queries about the month of Ramadan like brushing teeth while fasting, husband, Sexual Intercourse during Ramadan etc

      RAMADAN – Introduction to Taraweeh

Ramadan is the special Month for Muslims, for all the believers it is told to us by Allah (SWT) that there is no month better than the month of Ramadan and there is no worship better than the worship of this month and there is no night better than thousand worshipping nights than the Night of Power (Shab-e-Qadr).

Yes, that is right when it comes to the ultimate month of Ramadan we are to worship and follow the precise teachings that are promised to benefit us for the life herein and hereafter. For your information it is the idea of praying and worshipping to please our Lord, Allah (SWT) for his attention seeking mercy and forgiveness.

This is the month in which we are to pray Taraweeh The Special Prayer For The Month Of Fasting. This is a very special provision for which we are to make the best out of it from special understanding. As you might not know, but our Beloved Prophet was the first One to start Taraweeh prayers in the special month.

It is reported from various sources that our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) prayed Taraweeh once in mosque and people joined him He (SAWS) prayed again the next night in Ramadan and more people joined him, and for a reason He (SAWS) did not come to pray Taraweeh for the next two nights leaving people to wait.

On the question due to His (SAWS) absence He (SAWS) said: “I have seen what you did, nothing had prevented me from coming out to you except that I feared that it may become obligatory upon you.” Thus, it is offers high rewards and have not been made compulsion on Muslims but as said the followed practice offers high rewards to the believers.

What not to do in Ramadan

Ramadan has rules that are meant to be followed. These rules are mandatory as doing such activities will result in failure to comply with the true purpose of Ramadan. Say NO to telling lies, back biting and doing any sort of action that will harm anyone in this special month. Be a just Muslim and learn what to avoid in Ramadan. All of us have a chance of being better Muslims, let’s not waste it and benefit from this opportunity.
